Gemm flew beside Barkudd. The high tyto had recovered well. "Barkudd." Gemm said. "Yes Gemm?"
"Should we have an invasion?"
"Now?" Barkudd asked turning to her.
"Yes, now." Gemm said.
"Why? I have just recovered."
"I want to do one now." Gemm hooted. Barkudd shook his head no. Gemm didn't say a thing. "I am about to have an egg." Gemm said.

Just then Jumpyr, a male Barn Owl, came in. "High Tyto, Her Pureness, we have heard that Narcissa wishes to speak to you." He said.

Narcissa flew in. "Flint should be here, we are mates now. But anyway, I was wondering... should we try to recruit new owls? Maybe i should make that one chick a member of our St. Aggies library guards."
